Our Commitment to Training:

A technicians’ training is the key to ensuring a professional and quality installation or service. We don’t believe in cutting corners when it comes to training employees. At P.D.Q. Doors our training and certification programs are un-matched in the Greater Cincinnati Area. We are the only door company to require EVERY technician to pass a course to become a “Residential Certified Installer”. This program is offered from the “Institute of Door Dealer Education and Accreditation” and represents a third party validation of an individual’s professional status.

Program Details:

To be eligible to become a certified residential installer you must have a minimum of two years of garage door experience. Once eligible a technician must take a written examination to assess their knowledge. Once the written test is passed, P.D.Q. Doors certified trainer will evaluate the technicians work in the field. Once the trainer verifies that the technician is trained to all P.D.Q. Standards for garage doors and garage door openers. The trainer will sign off on the certification, and the technician will then become a Residential Certified Installer.
